Following their 2016 international debut, Tribeca Ensemble has firmly cemented itself as Utah’s premier young musician chamber music group. Studying under artists such as Valentin Erben (Alban Berg Quartet) Alexander Pavlovsky (Jerusalem Quartet), Orfeo Mandozzi (Vienna Brahms Trio) as well as the, Quiroga and Emerson String Quartets, Tribeca Ensemble has toured the U.S. and Europe, performing in venues such as the Hermitage Museum, Kasteel Amerongen and Wanlass Performance Hall, to high acclaim.
As a versatile chamber music ensemble, Tribeca Ensemble enjoys an ability to perform a large portion of the repertoire in the realms of both standard masterworks as well as contemporary music. Essentially rostered as a string sextet, The Ensemble regularly performs string quartets, trios, sextets, as well as piano trios, quartets and sonatas, providing a unique and innovative approach to concert programming.
Deeply invested in pedagogy and chamber music instruction, Tribeca Ensemble was selected as primary coaches for the Cache Chamber Music Project (CCMP). CCMP focuses on chamber music instruction for students grades 7-12, and has resulted in over over 100 hours of private instruction as well as over 30 classically based outreach concerts throughout the state since 2012. During the 2018-2019 season, The Ensemble plans to launch the Utah Chamber Music Project -a similar iteration of the project- based in the Salt Lake Valley. Students of CCMP and Tribeca Ensemble have won auditions to Brigham Young University, Utah State University and Indiana University.
