Audrey Hudgens

A native of Provo, UT, Audrey Hudgens began her career in cello at the age of five. Previous engagements include performances in every state in the western continental United States, appearances at the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival as well as regular performances for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ms. Hudgens has studied under Rainer Eudeikis (Principal Cello, Utah Symphony), Pegsoon Whang, and presently under the tutelage of Anne Francis-Bayless at Utah State University. As a collegiate student, Ms. Hudgens has performed in masterclass with Paul Katz and James Dunham of the Cleveland Quartet and the Jerusalem Quartet, Matt Haimovitz, Paul Watkins and violinist Violanie Melancon. A grant recipient, Ms. Hudgens currently works intensively with the Fry Street Quartet as a member of the Chamber Music Research Quartet, a funded research initiative of Utah State University that exists to provide outreach performances and conduct research on masterworks of the string quartet literature.
